Nummer 2: Alter Fund- und Kunstschacht.

Fund- und Kunstschacht der 1478 verliehenen Fundgrube zum Birkenberg, dessen späteren Heilige-Dreifaltigkeit-Fundgrube. In ca. 60m Tiefe erreicht er den Tiefen-Erbstolln und geht noch ca. 30m unter der Sohle nieder. Im 18. Jahrhundert war auch ein Zechenhaus vorhanden. 1795 beschloss man den Schacht abzuwerfen und in notdürftig auf der Erbstollnsohle zu verzimmern. Die Schachtbinge wurde 1798 übertage verfüllt und eingeebnet. Wenn das jetzige vorhandene Gewölbe auf der Erbstollnsohle eingebracht wurde, ist nicht belegt.
